Crossbreed Butch is looking for a quiet adult only home with access to lovely quiet walks, which he loves – he can often be seen bouncing around in the long grass at Dogs Trust Kenilworth!

Butch, who is five, loves his toys and food so when it comes to training he will do his absolute best in return for a tasty treat or play time, and he picks things up really quickly so will keep his new owners on their toes.

He wants a home where there aren’t too many comings and goings as he can be anxious when it comes to meeting new people and his new family will need to continue with his ongoing training, including muzzle training.

He would like his owners to be around most of the time as he doesn’t like to be left home alone and he needs to live in an adult only home with no visiting children. He would love to have his own secure garden to play in, but he also loves a trip in the car to quiet walking areas.

Butch will need to meet his new owners at the centre a few times before heading home, which isn’t possible at the moment due to national lockdown. However, if you think Butch could be the canine companion you are looking for, please go to www.dogstrust.org.uk to find out more and to register your interest.

Dogs Trust wants to change the tale for thousands of dogs who otherwise would have nowhere to turn, and want to remind people that they are there to help wherever possible, so if anyone is struggling and needs to give up their dog, to contact Dogs Trust on 0300 303 2188. Alternatively, please give what you can to help Dogs Trust change the tale for dogs like Butch, by visiting www.dogstrust.org.uk/changethetale
