Rescue Caddy the Lurcher

Eight-year-old Lurcher Caddy is a shy boy with a sensitive side, looking for a home with a loving family who can help build his confidence.

Caddy is a gentle soul and loves to be around people, so isn’t too keen on being left alone. He’d love it if his new family could keep him company for most of the day, and any time left alone should be built up gradually. He could live with another, similar-natured dog providing they get along well during initial introductions.

Caddy is a friendly lad who would suit a quiet home with new owners who will give him plenty of time to get used to his new environment. He could live with teenagers of 16 years or over, as long as they give him time on his own when he needs it. He loves his food and treats which is definitely the way to his heart and will certainly help in his ongoing training.

If you think Caddy could be the dog for you, find out more by calling 01926 569236, or go to www.dogstrust.org.uk. Dogs Trust Kenilworth is still closed to walk-in members of the public. However, the team can now also book appointments for those dogs who can’t be rehomed using the centre’s new ‘Handover at Home’ process. Potential new owners will be able to meet the dog they are interested in rehoming at the centre in an outside play area, or in a spacious area that is separate from the main rehoming centre such as a training barn, whilst adhering to social distancing guidelines.
